Goddess Looks, Unexpected Blessings - Gangamma Jatara 2026 - Part 2

Part 2 of my Gangamma Jatara 2026 journey was filled with transformation, confidence, friendship, and unexpected blessings. From experiencing a divine Maa Godha Devi makeover and doing makeup for someone else for the very first time, to meeting Tirupati's popular Instagram celebrity Tulasi and making an unexpected FEMEGHA wig sale, every moment taught me something new. This chapter is a reminder that stepping outside our comfort zone often leads to the most beautiful experiences and memorable stories.

If Part 1 of my Gangamma Jatara journey was about beautiful memories, friendships, and unexpected moments, Part 2 was all about stepping out of my comfort zone, trying something completely different, and discovering new possibilities within myself.

Every year, Gangamma Jatara gives me memories that stay with me forever. This year was no exception.

Becoming Maa Godha Devi – A Divine Transformation

One of the highlights of this year's Jatara was trying the look of Maa Godha Devi with the help of professional makeup artists.

I have been doing my own makeup for years now. In fact, my regular feminine makeover usually takes around 20 minutes. But this transformation was on an entirely different level.

The eye makeup alone took nearly 45 minutes, and the complete makeover required approximately one hour and twenty minutes.

Watching the artists patiently work on every detail was fascinating. Every stroke, every color, and every layer added a new dimension to the look. The experience made me appreciate the skill and dedication that professional makeup artists bring to their work.

One thing that particularly surprised me was seeing them use Mifi Pancake Makeup. It instantly took me back to the early days of my crossdressing journey when I used the same product while learning makeup for the very first time.

Sometimes a simple makeup product can bring back years of memories.

The Unusual Journey to the Makeup Studio

This makeover experience came with another interesting challenge.

Normally, during the four days of Jatara, once I transform into my feminine self, I prefer not to switch back into male clothing. But this time I had to travel to the makeup artist's studio before getting ready, and I found myself confused.

Should I go fully dressed in feminine attire?

Or should I go in my usual male clothing?

After thinking for a while, I found a middle path.

I decided not to remove my nail polish.

I kept my anklets on.

I wore a bra beneath my t-shirt, paired it with jeans, slipped into my female sandals, packed my saree and accessories into a backpack, and headed to the studio.

It was probably one of the most unusual combinations I have ever worn.

The women present in the room definitely noticed me. I knew I looked different. But surprisingly, I felt completely comfortable.

Perhaps that is one of the biggest lessons life has taught me over the years.

When you are comfortable with yourself, you stop worrying about what others might think.

The next day, I returned to the studio to give back the ornaments that I had borrowed. Before leaving, I clicked a few photographs with the makeup artists and personally thanked them for giving me such a wonderful and memorable look.

Their work truly made my Gangamma Jatara experience even more special.

Last year during Gangamma Jatara, while catching up with old friends, I shared my dream of starting a brand called FEMEGHA, dedicated exclusively to serving the day-to-day needs of crossdressers.

My First Experience Doing Makeup for Someone Else

This year's Jatara also brought me a challenge that I never expected.

One of my sisters requested me to do makeup for one of their relatives.

At first, I hesitated.

While I have been doing my own makeup for years, I had never really done makeup for anyone else except my wife.

Doing your own makeup is one thing.

Doing makeup on another person is an entirely different challenge.

But sometimes growth begins where comfort ends.

So I accepted the challenge.

To my surprise, the makeover turned out quite well.

The final result looked good, and more importantly, the person was happy with it.

That experience gave me something far more valuable than appreciation.

It gave me confidence.

For the first time, I realized that perhaps I can use my makeup skills not only on myself but also help others look and feel beautiful.

And honestly, that realization felt wonderful.

Fun Times with Tirupati's Popular Instagram Celebrity

One of the most enjoyable parts of this year's Jatara was spending time with a local social media celebrity known to almost everyone in Tirupati.

Most people know him as Tulasi.

Although he is 19 years old, his youthful appearance, golden-colored hair, unique voice modulation, and vibrant personality have made him quite popular on Instagram and among locals.

I had the opportunity to spend some quality time with him during the festivities.

What started as a casual interaction quickly turned into a fun-filled conversation.

We discussed everything from social media and content creation to paid promotions, online branding, and how influencers earn through collaborations.

I was genuinely surprised by how much knowledge and practical experience he had at such a young age.

We also created a couple of Instagram reels together, laughed a lot, and simply enjoyed the moment.

It was one of those interactions that leaves you smiling long after it ends.

An Unexpected FEMEGHA Sale During Jatara

Sometimes life rewards you when you least expect it.

Last year during Gangamma Jatara, while catching up with old friends, I shared my dream of starting a brand called FEMEGHA, dedicated exclusively to serving the day-to-day needs of crossdressers.

At that time, one of our fellow crossdressers immediately sent me ₹1000 as an advance payment after seeing samples of my lace-front wigs.

Back then, FEMEGHA was just an idea slowly taking shape.

Today, things are very different.

The business officially launched during Dussehra last year and has been growing steadily ever since.

This year, during Jatara, I met the same person again and casually asked whether he wanted to check out some of the new wig collections so that I could adjust the advance payment he had already made.

He said he needed some time to think.

I didn't expect anything further.

Then suddenly, I received a call.

He asked me to bring two wigs.

Fortunately, while packing for the trip, I had kept aside two brand-new lace-front wigs for myself.

I showed them to him.

He loved them immediately.

Without hesitation, he purchased both wigs and paid the remaining balance.

Honestly, I never expected to make a sale during the festival.

But what made me happiest wasn't the sale itself.

It was seeing the customer genuinely excited and happy with the quality of the wigs.

That feeling is priceless.

Interestingly, the makeup artist accompanying him was also curious about the wigs. He asked me several questions about their texture, quality, sourcing, and country of import.

After our conversation, he took my contact details and mentioned that he might reach out in the future for his own clients.

Moments like these remind me of something I strongly believe:

Good products, honest effort, and genuine passion eventually find recognition.

Looking Back

When I think about this year's Gangamma Jatara, I don't just remember the outfits, makeup, or photographs.

I remember the experiences.

I remember the people.

I remember the conversations.

I remember the challenges that pushed me beyond my comfort zone.

From becoming Maa Godha Devi, to doing makeup for someone else, to meeting new people, creating content, and unexpectedly growing FEMEGHA — every moment added a new chapter to my journey.

And perhaps that is what makes Gangamma Jatara so special for me.

Every year, I return with more than memories.

I return with stories.

Stories that remind me how beautiful life can be when we embrace who we truly are.
