Gangamma Jatara 2024 – My Preparation – Part 1

It's been a while I haven't written any blog posts due to workload and frequent travels. So, without any further delay, I would like to share my recent Gangamma Jatara experience with you all.

Usually, I do have the habit of making a list of items that I need to carry to this type of travels and sometimes even to my business trips where I get an opportunity to dress up in the hotel over a weekend. I love things to be perfect and I dedicatedly spend one hour time for just jotting out the items which I need. Unlike many others, I can't just dress like that with the bare minimum stuff or even I never consider draping a piece of cloth around you like a saree and calling it as cross-dressing. I know many of us during our initial days of the cross-dressing journey might have tried with little available things, but during my initial days, I always tried it our all the stuff except a wig, which I got after one year of dressing journey.

So, prepared a big list of some 45 (approx..) items to carry for jatara and started placing each of them in my luggage whenever I get time during my weekdays and this started two weeks ahead of my travel. Since my family supports my dressing I don't have any problem packing my stuff publicly at home. Unfortunately, after few days of packing, I lost my list, I was like the captain of the ship who lost his map and ended up in rough seas.

My sister noticed the disappointment on my face and came to help me by asking me to go for a shave.

I was too lazy to prepare one more list and went ahead and packed everything. The biggest mistake I made this time was pushing my waxing and threading part to the end. Finally, I didn't have time to get it done in Hyderabad so boarded the train to Tirupathi. It was a 6-day trip that I planned. After checking in the lodge I unpacked my luggage and waited for my sister to come. Of course, I discussed everything with my sister way in advance of my travel. She came along with her daughter and the bad news was that initially, one beautician agreed to offer me salon services in the last minute and went to her hometown. So, I was clueless about what to do. Then my sister took me to a unisex parlor and in the parlor one male attendant started doing my eyebrows. Initially, he was a little nervous to do my eyebrows but I explained to him the purpose of my visit to Tirupathi and made him comfortable to do his job. He did my eyebrows then started my waxing. He took 2 hours to complete my feet even though I don't have much hair then I asked him to stop as this thing is taking more time than expected. I settled the bill and went back to the lodge.

I was half done and didn't know what to do I made a mistake for not planning properly. My sister noticed the disappointment on my face and came to help me by asking me to go for a shave. I usually don't prefer to shave my body as it will increase the ingrown hair and in the long run, it won't look good. Since I didn't have any other then I clean-shaved my body with a razor usually used by women for shaving and that made my skin soft and smooth. I started dressing in front of my sister and she was chitchatting with me as two ladies discussed their dresses, jewelry, and whatnot in this world.

In the evening I was ready for the temple visit and I couple of calls to my local female friends that I was coming to the temple and to meet there after Gangamma darshan. I went to the temple along with my sister and her daughter there my local female friends welcomed me with beautiful smiles on their faces. I was really lucky to have such wonderful ladies around me..in my heart with all due respect I prayed to mother goddess Gandamma for this wonderful life with such a beautiful around me.
I met Jabardasth fame Haritha at the temple, I met her for the first time even though I saw her many times in Hyderabad in her male mode as she used to stay close to my place. My first meeting with her was amazing, I smiled at her from a distance and approached her for a selfie with her and immediately she said yes and we took some pics together. My sister took my mobile and took some pics of both of us.

P.S: In the next part of my Gangamma Jatara blog series I would like to cover my most thrilling experience of life ever to darshan Tirupathi Balaji en femme..stay tuned..I am also very excited to share that with you all.
